About us
Transfurans chemicals is the largest Furfuryl Alcohol and derivatives manufacturer in Europe. In total we have a combined capacity of 50 000 MT and are able to deliver our products to a wide variety of end-markets.
Transfurans Chemicals is a pioneer in Furfural chemicals. Since 1972 we have been producing Furfuryl Alcohol and derivative products at our facility in Belgium. Together with our sister company International Furan Chemicals, handling the commercial activities, located in the Netherlands and Canada, we are the market leader in Europe and North-America.
Our Story
At the core of our operations is sustainability. Our chemistry is based on the use of agricultural waste products, reflecting our commitment to minimizing environmental impact. We actively strive for the use of carbon-neutral energy in our processes to further reduce our carbon footprint. By active collaboration between our production, QC, R&D, and sales team, we not only ensure the highest standards of product quality but also collaborate closely with customers to drive innovation in developing novel applications.
